Akhand Ramayan Path

Akhand Ramayan Path is the uninterrupted, continuous recitation of the complete Ramcharitmanas — all seven kandas, 10,902 chaupais, and dohas — completed within a twenty-four hour period without pause. The word Akhand means unbroken or continuous, and the power of this puja is said to lie precisely in this uninterrupted quality — a sustained wave of divine sound that fills the space with protective, purifying energy for a full day and night. The Path requires a team of trained pathis (reciters) who take turns in a relay format to maintain continuous recitation without any break. Our team typically comprises six to eight pathis who rotate in two-hour shifts, ensuring the quality and pace of recitation remains consistent throughout. The session begins with a Ganesh Puja and Hanuman Puja, and concludes with a Aarti and prasad distribution. Akhand Ramayan Path is performed for a wide range of occasions — before major life events such as weddings or business openings, during periods of family illness or distress, as fulfilment of a Manat (vow), or as an annual tradition on Ram Navami or Hanuman Jayanti. It is also performed for the peace of a departed soul in the first year after death. The scope varies based on venue size, number of attendees, and whether you require sound equipment and decorative setup. We handle bookings through enquiry to provide an accurate scope and quote. --- ✓ Full twenty-four hour uninterrupted Ramcharitmanas recitation ✓ Team of six to eight trained pathis on relay schedule ✓ Ganesh Puja, Hanuman Puja, Aarti, and prasad included
